I've always been drawn to problems that are simple to state but hard to solve. That pulled me into math — I did a PhD and spent years on exactly those kinds of questions.
Then AlphaGo caught my attention, and I got pulled into AI and Machine Learning. I taught myself the field and eventually transitioned my career into it. Since then I've been using data to drive decisions — end-to-end: experimentation, design, and bringing to production.
I also haved coached data scientists and mentored high schoolers publish their first high-school level research papers.
This site is where I write about things I'm building and learning. Feel free to reach out to me on LinkedIn if you want to chat about anything.
